The 2025 MTCP Sarawak guideline describes a 5+5-year approved visitor pass with a Multiple Entry Visa (MEV). It says the extension for years 6–10 is subject to passport validity and a new RB II medical report. For a second 10-year period, it describes a new application to the Immigration Department of Malaysia, Sarawak, submitted six months before the pass expires. The first 10 years: the guideline's 5+5 structure

For successful applicants, the guideline states that the approved visitor pass is issued as 5+5 years with an MEV. It says an extension must be completed for the second half of that period, covering years 6–10. Source: MTCP Sarawak 2025 guideline, printed p. 16 / PDF viewer p. 16.

Planning for years 6–10

The guideline says the extension for years 6–10 is subject to the validity of the applicant's passport and resubmission of a new medical report using the RB II Form. Source: MTCP Sarawak 2025 guideline, printed p. 16 / PDF viewer p. 16.

Documents are handled per the current official checklist, confirmed during your consultation. This article intentionally does not reproduce a document list, fee, service time, or outcome estimate. Confirm the requirements that apply to your individual case with the relevant authorities before acting.

Continuing into a second 10-year period

For applicants who wish to continue the programme for a second 10-year period, the guideline says the application is made to the Immigration Department of Malaysia, Sarawak as a new application. It says the new application should be submitted six months before the pass expires. Source: MTCP Sarawak 2025 guideline, printed p. 19 / PDF viewer p. 19.

The guideline does not establish enough detail for a universal second-term checklist. Confirm the requirements that apply to your situation with the relevant authorities.
